Want to Do Something Fun this Winter? Try A Weekend in Quebec City! Last January, we decided to do something totally spur of the moment ; Guy and I hadn't seen snow in 17 years and Oliver had never seen snow, so we bought three plane tickets to Quebec City, Quebec, went to visit Guy's mom and sister & had the best winter weekend of our lives! Crazy, huh? Floridians going north into sub-zero weather! It was an amazing three days; when you go to Quebec City, you will feel like you've gone to Europe. without the 10 hour plane ride! The city is modern and old, very French, and yet, most of the inhabitants speak English. I found the people different; polite, cultured, trendy dressers. Awesome restaurants line the streets and there is an ambience that will keep you warm as you walk through the old city. During our three day visit, we toured the Ice Hotel [Hotel de Glace], saw the "Red Bull Crashed Ice Speed Skating Race", walked in Old Quebec, and took Oliver sledding and tobagganing for the first time!! Check out my book at http://www.blurb.com/ if you'd like to see more! The Pelletiers Go to Quebec
